Lord Jesus, You said that You are the resurrection and the life, and that if anyone believes in You, they too will live! Jesus, I believe! You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, the Savior of the world, who was raised from the dead, has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities, and powers in submission to You! I want to truly know You, Lord Jesus, and the power of Your resurrection in my life. Show me what this means and teach me by Your Spirit, for I cannot comprehend the magnitude of this!
In light of this resurrection power I ask you to change the way that I live. Transform me, I pray, that my life may be characterized by ever-increasing boldness and confidence in You—for my Savior lives!
By Your Spirit, empower me to live above the circumstances and daily situations that surround me, for I know that I have been raised with You through my faith in the power of God the Father Who raised You from the dead. How grateful I am that I have been made alive with You!
Thank You for forgiving me all of my sins and canceling the written law, with its regulations, that was against me—that stood opposed to me. Thank You for taking it away and nailing it to the cross. Thank You, Jesus, for disarming the powers of darkness and making a public spectacle of them by triumphing over them by the cross! How I praise God that You have been raised from the dead! For I know that if You had not been raised, my faith would be futile.
Lord Jesus, I believe that You died and rose again and because of this, I know that You will come again—that You will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God the Father, and those who have died in You will rise first. After that, if I am still alive on the earth, I will be caught up, with my brothers and sisters in Christ, in the clouds to meet You in the air and will be with You forever. Hallelujah! What a Savior! Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!
