There are three important spiritual doors mentioned by John in the book of Revelation. Here is a prayer guide that I use, based on the spiritual dynamics of these doors. I hope it blesses you!
A closed door that only you can open.
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20, NKJV).
This is the door to salvation and intimate fellowship with the Lord.
Prayers:
- Lord, remove corrupt communication from my lips. Make my speech inspire and shine with the fullness of Your grace to those who hear Jesus in my life.
- Lord, teach me how to utilize Your spiritual armor to resist the powers of evil today as I preach, teach, and heal the sick in my harvest field.
- In the Name of Jesus, I revoke and negate every death wish, verdict, and sentence of death in my life, the lives of my loved ones, children, and in the lives of church leadership.
- In the Name of Jesus, I overthrow satanic sanctions and embargoes against my family, congregation and friends. I pray protection over our businesses, our loved ones, our children, and ministry leadership. I exercise restraining orders over every stronghold assigned to steal, kill, and destroy us, our children, our loved ones, and ministry leadership.
An open door that no man can shut.
“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name” (Revelation 3:8, NKJV).
This is the door to effective ministering for God.
Prayers:
- Lord God, grant me Christ’s holy love in my heart, soul, and life, and that I will live for Your glory, the benefit of Your church, and the expansion of Your kingdom all over the world.
- Lord, lead me to live in the Spirit of God and walk in the Spirit of leadership so that I can see God in glory.
- Lord, use my life as a resource to offer Your divine healing to the sickness of this generation through the gospel of the kingdom.
- Lord, put in me the truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, the power of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, so that I can use it to safeguard myself from evil.
- Lord, make me a like-minded person with true believers all over the world in Christ’s holy work.
- Lord, help me to remember things that are true, honest, just, pure, attractive, of good report, and virtuous or praiseworthy.
- I decree a divine reversal of all satanic transactions that have taken place to devalue me and misrepresent my true self.
- God may you help me that Jesus’ mission must be my mission.
- God may you help me that Jesus’s agenda must be my agenda.
- God may you help me to engage God’s Word as my lifestyle.
- God, may you help me to engage in reflection as a lifestyle.
- God may you help me to engage in Kingdom investment as my lifestyle.
- God may you help me to live free of clutter, baggage, and debt in this world.
- God may you help me to make prayer my lifestyle
- God may you help me to pray regularly.
- God may you help me to pray for others.
- God, may you help me to pray with the saints in the world together.
- God may you help me to pray in spirit.
- God may you help me to pray for victory (Exodus 17:12).
- God may you help me to pray in knowledge, vision, and understanding (Daniel 10:1-21).
- God may you help me to pray in the healing of the land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
- God may you help me to pray in the greater harvest (Matthew 9:37-38; Luke 10:2).
- God may you help me to pray in strength, good, and the will of God (Romans 8:26-28).
An open door into the heavens.
“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this’” (Revelation 4:1, NKJV).
This is the door open to believers to experience revelation through prayer and God’s Word.
Prayers:
- Lord, give me the grace of Jesus to follow Your guidance and will in this new year by preaching the gospel to the lost, teaching the word to the found sheep, and healing the sick in all of my service areas. I’m called.
- Lord, grant me gladness, faith, joy, boldness, and the fullness of the Holy Spirit as I preach, teach, and heal the sick in the places where You send.
- Lord God, connect me with Your Holy Spirit, a powerful pipeline in a heavenly place, so that I may hear Your son Jesus sit at the right hand of God and experience the fullness of Jesus on earth.
- Lord, grant me to know God deeply through the divine wisdom and revelation of Christ, which will guide my life to understand the hope of my calling and the riches of glory in the inheritance of the saints.
- Lord, may You help me to understand Your power, which is greater than all named authorities, principalities, powers, and rulers, not only in this world but also in the world to come.
- Lord, You are the beginning and the end. May You give me a drink from Your fountain of the water of life, and I will be living water for those who are thirsty.
- God, may You help me to have a full understanding of the spiritual mapping in God’s work and the success of the ministry I have been called.
- God may You help me to have complete confidence and dependence upon your mighty hands.
- God, may You give me Christ’s passion for souls.
- God may You give me certainty of victory due to the familiarity and superiority of the spiritual weaponry I owned.
- God, may You give me endurance and perseverance in every battle, whatever the cost.
- God may You help me to identify strongholds that must be broken.
- God, may You increase my faith in You through everything.
- God, may You help me to discipline myself in divine wisdom to keep my holiness both before God and man.
- Jesus, let Your thoughts, Your heartbeat, and Your plan of mission become my main focus at this very time of my ministry.
