Protection from the Enemy

Lord, I lift up our need for protection. Protect and deliver us from the evil one. Help us be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves as we deal with the wolves around us. Show us how to test every spirit to see if they are from You. Help us recognize the enemy’s disguises and schemes so that he won’t outwit us. (Jn. 17:15; Matt. 6:13; Matt. 10:14; 1 Jn.. 4:1; 2 Cor. 11:14; 2:11 )

Jesus' Ministry Prayers

Focus:

Praying the reasons Jesus came to earth as a means of interceding for our church, community and country.


Format:

John 10:10: “I have come that they may have life,and have it to the full.”

God sent Jesus to bring life! Let’s praise him for life physical, emotional, relational and eternal.

Songs and prayers of praise, thanksgiving, testimony to God’s life-giving gifts.

Luke 19:10: “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.”

Jesus’ mission was to find and bring salvation to those in darkness.

Songs and prayers petitioning God for the salvation of the needy and neighbors, neighborhoods and nations.

1 John 3:8: The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

Jesus came to undo and dissolve the schemes and systems of Satan.

Songs and prayers of warfare; asking God to destroy specific works of our Enemy.

Luke 12:49 “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!”

The fire of God’s truth must sweep the Church.

Songs and prayer seeking revival in the Church that becomes a cultural spiritual awakening.
